Great Tribute

To the Editor:

Thank you for the fabulous article about Bert Politoski, who has walked 20 miles daily for the past 34 years (“Veteran Honored for Service, Environmental Stewardship,” 7/5). It is a great tribute to this West Point graduate. The military is very important to me, as my grandson Stephen Ferrara recently graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado.
